Nya förbättringar för SQL Server 2012 SP1

Sedan tidigare i veckan finns en ny uppdatering för SQL Server 2012 SP1. Vi har nu kommit till uppdatering nummer 7 som alltså innehåller alla förbättringar sedan service pack 1.   Denna uppdatering innehåller rätt många rättningar, nästan 50 stycken. Nedan följer några av dessa:

• FIX: Nonclustered index corruption may occur when you run a complex UPDATE statement together with a NOLOCK hint against a table in SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2 or SQL Server 2012
• Duplicated worksheets are opened when you use the SQL Server Master Data Services Add-in for Microsoft Excel in SQL Server 2012
• You can’t open the SQL Server Analysis Services properties dialog box in Windows 8.1
• FIX: Find option in Report Manager always takes you to the bottom of the page in SSRS 2012
• FIX: Query scope assignment works incorrectly after you run a ClearCache command in SSAS 2012
• FIX: Wrong date format will be returned when you run DateAdd or Day function in SSAS 2012 on a non-US locale computer
• FIX: It takes much longer for a user without administrator permissions to run an MDX query than an administrator user in SSAS 2012

Som sagt och vi ser ovan är det rätt mycket som är fixat och detta var bara några exempel.

Som vanligt gäller det att alltid testa innan man gör förändringar i sin produktionsmiljö, men man bör alltid kontrollera vilka förbättringar som gjorts i dessa uppdateringar, och vem vill inte ha löst dessa problem som man kan ha i sin SQL Server miljö ?.
