Perfmon Data collection – the secure and agile way

I just wrote an article at Simple-talk.com about a secure and flexible method for perfmon counter data collection. The article describes how to use an ODBC connection to collect perfmon counters directly to a SQL Server database, which makes our data secure and the collection can be repeated with ease over time. Also, the analysis is much easier by using T-SQL queries. The article can be viewed here.
