In SQL Server Mangement Studio there are some built-in reports, but they do not cover everything you might want to know about your server, databases, tables, indexes or statistics. In addition to the built-in reports, I will create some useful custom reports for SQL Server 2012, and my 4:th report is the “Memory dump” report. This report will show information about :
- How many memory dumps you had in the last month
- The filename of the memory dumpl
- The size of the memory dump
Memory dumps are generally an indication of something wrong and you have to investigate the reason behind the memory dump. The first step in the investigation is to know when they occured.

I will post all my custom reports at this link : www.sqlservice.se/ssms/custom_reports.aspx
