SQL Server Connect item requesting a new default value for Cost Threshold for Parallelism

One of the last remaining antiques of SQL Server is the default value for the configuration item

Cost Threshold for Parallelism

which has remained unchanged since SQL Server 7.0

This is odd because server hardware has certainly changed since 1998
